The completion of excavation works and rebuilding the Moais

By March, 1993, we were able to finish most of the excavation works. Eyes of Moais, fishing hooks and ear rings made from whale bones, mini Moais, tools of basalt for making Moais, and other items, which were unearthed during the excavation, are now on exhibit at the "Tongariki Corner" newly opened in the Easter Island museum.
