Tadano Ltd. is introducing two new options for the GR-1600XL/1450EX, the largest rough terrain crane model in our lineup. One of these options is a jib for heavy lifting and the other is an insert lattice jib, developed in response to customer requests.
1) Heavy Lifting Jib
This new option is an 11.8 ft (3.6m), two offset angle (20°and 40°) heavy lift jib with a maximum capacity of 24 US tons (22 metric tons). This option is being launched for GR-1600XL/1450EX models for lifting heavy loads in tight spaces, for example confined jobsite in plants or infrastructure construction sites.
2) Insert Lattice Jib
The new insert jib is a 23 ft (7m) lattice jib which can use maximum 2 sections. The entire jib system gives a maximum lifting height of 302.5ft (92.2m). This is for reaching higher places like large-sized plants/refineries where normally cranes have a hard time reaching due to plumbing pipes, buildings etc.
