Introducing a New Truck Crane for Singapore

Tadano Ltd. is launching a new truck crane for the Singapore market. The new truck crane, the GS-600EX, boasts a 60 metric ton capacity, a 42m 5-section hexagonal box boom, and a high-performance SCANIA carrier with right-hand steering.

1. Product Concept
In Singapore, one of our most important markets in Southeast Asia, our customers require right-hand steering truck cranes that meet emission control regulations and can drive on public roads. After listening to our customer demands, Tadano introduced the new GS-600EX truck crane, which meets all of their truck crane requirements. With the introduction of this product, we hope to build on the brand superiority that we have established in the Singapore market with the overwhelming success there of our rough terrain cranes.

2. Primary Features and Benefits
1) One of the longest booms in its class
The 60 metric ton capacity, 42m 5-section hexagonal boom is one of the longest booms available in this class. Furthermore, the GS-600EX can be driven on public roads without having to dismount the counter weight, which allows customers to operate their cranes more efficiently.
Extra reach is provided by a 2-staged bi-fold lattice-type jib that stows alongside the base boom section and features self stowing jib mounting pins.

2) Carrier Permitted to Drive on Public Roads
We have used the right-hand steering SCANIA carrier for the first time due to its compliance with emission control regulations, which permit it to be driven on Singapore's public roads. Furthermore, we have added a stiffness stabilizer for comfortable driving and a front light guard for safety. Thanks to these special features, we provide users with a safe and comfortable drive on Singapore's public roads.

3) Installation of HELLO-NET for the First Time on a Truck Crane
Tadano has equipped this truck crane with HELLO-NET, which is used to support our customers' efficient crane operations via computers or mobile devices.（*） The customer can monitor their crane activity, work history, machine position data, and maintenance information. Tadano offers advanced customer support with the HELLO-NET system.

4) Safe and Environmentally Conscious Crane
The GS-600EX is equipped with our AML, a safety device which is highly valued by current Tadano users, and it includes hydraulically operated 4-point outriggers, slewable front and H-type rear outriggers. Outriggers can be controlled simultaneously or independently from either side of the carrier. In addition, we also have equipped this model with "Eco-mode" which reduces fuel consumption when the crane is being operated.
