This informs Tadano Thailand Co. Ltd., consolidated subsidiary of Tadano Ltd. finished to build new plant for Truck loader Crane in Thailand and had opening ceremony at plant that we invited 350 our business partners as guests. Our plant started full-production from June 3rd, 2013.
We aim to expand our oversea business as our strategy and set the target to increase current 50% oversea sales to 80% of total business. This new plant is one of the actions for our international business strategy to promote market and sale expansion in emerging market.
Our new plant located at industrial park in south/east area of Bangkok is our first truck loader carne production site in foreign country and have 1,000 unit/year capacity. Our main targets for truck loader crane at this plant are North East Asia, Middle East, and Africa.
8 ton class and 5 ton class truck loader crane will be manufactured in this plant immediately and will be expanded production items gradually which will be aligned with global market situation. Based on demand forecast, we have space to build second production line and plan to increase production capacity to 2,000unit/year.
By starting new plant operation we will accelerate our oversea sales expansion for truck loader crane and improve profitability.
